BE PART OF SOMETHING NEW

Even as the world undergoes swift changes, working in investment banking still looks like it did ten years ago: exciting transactions and attractive incentives continue to go hand-in-hand with regular night shifts and short-notice weekend staffings - and that non-stop. At IB FELLOWS, we have an appealing alternative for investment banking professionals.

We offer passionate and highly qualified investment bankers a way to create a healthier work-life balance within traditional investment banking.

WHAT MAKES WORKING AT IB FELLOWS SO UNIQUE

Our unique "part-time en bloc" work model allows you to continue working on large M&A and capital market transactions with leading investment banks on a project-by-project basis, working side-by-side in the client's offices as part of their execution team. But unlike the usual reality of full-time employees at an investment bank, our Fellows benefit from project-free phases after the successful end of their assignment. This means you’ll have plenty of time for family, friends and your own interests.

CASE IN POINT

The 50% part-time model, for example, involves working for a total of up to 6 months per year on project-by-project assignments. The rest of the year is completely at your own discretion, without any face time obligations. Sort of an integrated sabbatical leave each year.

During client deployment demands on each Fellow are very high and we expect a lot of our Fellows. But we are fully committed to bring professional demands in line with your personal situation. Examples include our "part-time en bloc" model, home office during the project-free periods or individual professional & methodological coaching by experienced investment bankers.
We live a culture that enables permanent performance-oriented, personal and professional development in a trusting environment.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR FELLOWS WHO FIT SEAMLESSLY INTO PROJECT TEAMS AT LARGE INVESTMENT BANKS

As the pace and expectations in investment banking are very high, our Fellows need to be methodologically well trained, sharp minded to quickly familiarise themselves with complex issues, in order to create value from day one of the assignment. Above all, they must be able to think, work and communicate precisely. But, as a Fellow, you offer much more than the urgently needed competency and capacity support for the client. You are driven to always make a noticeable contribution to the overall satisfaction of your deal team. Whether through your analytical attention to detail that detects a formula error in the central Excel model before it’s too late or through ongoing on-the-job training of younger and inexperienced employees of our clients.

Our Fellows are highly qualified investment bankers and passionate mentors.
